A free machine embroidered Mountain Hare on white linen. The embroidery is created with varying shades of thread giving depth and definition to this life-like portrayal of one of Britain's native inhabitants. The mountain hare lives in the Scottish Highlands and Islands, it's coat moulting to mostly white in preparation for winter.
The embroidery is doubled mounted, signed and measures 12" x 12" (approx 30 x 30 cm).
