A free machine embroidered Red Fox on white linen. The embroidery is created with varying shades of thread giving depth and definition to this life-like portrayal of one of Britain's native inhabitants. With it's distinctive colouring, long bushy tail and a widespread reputation for cunning, the fox has become a popular character in folklore.
The embroidery is doubled mounted, signed and measures 12" x 12" (approx 30 x 30 cm).
